How it works#
Stock Basket applies the selected crossover settings to every symbol in the basket. The current builder evaluates basket signals on candle close.
A basket groups activity; it does not mean that every stock will signal or fill at the same moment.
Signal settings#
The builder includes Timeframe, Fast EMA, Slow EMA, an optional EMA Trend Filter, and Start Behaviour. The observed fallbacks for Fast and Slow EMA are 19 and 20.
Daily and weekly timeframes use positional configuration and candle-close evaluation in the builder.
Start behaviour#
New Signal waits for a fresh valid crossover. Current Signal evaluates the latest eligible signal when the strategy starts.
Where the running-session start-mode control is available, switching to Current Signal can act immediately. Read the preview and confirmation before applying it.
Risk and sizing#
Review every included symbol and the selected sizing mode. Configure basket-wide loss and profit limits separately from per-stock limits.
The running basket form permits changes to daily basket loss/profit, per-stock loss/profit, maximum trades, new-entry cutoff, and square-off time. Symbols, exchange, timeframe, mode, and sizing are locked during the run.
Stopping a basket#
The list's Stop action requests that the active session stop and that its confirmed open exposure be squared off. Wait for the result and inspect every remaining stock position.
A request to square off is not proof that all exits filled. See orders and positions.
