What the library is#
Open Algo Library in the sidebar. Each card is a template: a complete algorithm configuration that the SSAlgo team has set up and published. Using one copies it into My Algos as your own algorithm.
The library currently offers 143 and Freedom Fighter templates. Each template is fixed to one instrument, so the same strategy on NIFTY and on BANKNIFTY appears as two separate cards.
Read a template card#

A risk label and highlights summarize the template. They are not a forecast of results.
Copy a template#
- Choose Use this algo on the card.
- Optionally change the Algo name. If you copy the same template again, a number is added to keep names distinct.
- Set the Size. It multiplies the template's lots, from 1× up to 50×. The panel shows the resulting lots per leg.
- Choose Paper (simulated, no real orders) or Live (real orders through your broker). Paper is selected by default.
- Confirm that template settings are not investment advice and that you will review them before going Live.
- Choose Add to My Algos.
How size affects limits#
The size multiplier scales quantities and rupee limits together. For example, at 2× a template with a ₹1,000 stop loss and 1 lot becomes 2 lots with a ₹2,000 stop loss, so the risk per lot stays the same. Review the scaled values in the dialog before adding.
After copying#
The new algorithm appears in My Algos and stays stopped until you start it. Choose Review settings to open it in the builder, or Go to My Algos.
The copy is an ordinary algorithm:
- You can edit any setting afterwards. Later changes to the template do not change your copy.
- It counts toward your plan's algorithm capacity like any other algorithm.
- A Live copy starts only with a connected broker and passes the same checks as any Live algorithm. See broker availability.
If the library is empty#
"No ready-made algos yet" means no templates are currently published for your account. Build your own with the six-step builder.
