Read before applying#
Open the algorithm's edit action. Disabled controls identify values that cannot change during that run. Review the confirmation and refreshed monitor after saving.
Changing a setting can affect subsequent behavior. It does not retroactively change a completed fill.
Shared indicator strategies#
The current shared form locks identity and contract-selection fields while running: name, strategy type, exchange, instrument, execution type, trade direction, order type, expiry selection, and strike offset.
Other behavior controls can be editable. A field being editable does not make a change harmless; check how the new value applies to the current position and session.
Freedom Fighter#
The running form locks name, strategy type, execution mode, exchange, instrument, and reference price source. Other available controls use the running reconfiguration workflow.
Review the updated boundaries and basket state after a successful change.
Stock Basket#
Only a defined set of controls remains editable during a run:
- Maximum Daily Basket Loss and Profit.
- Maximum Loss and Profit Per Stock.
- Maximum Trades.
- New Entry Cutoff Time.
- Square-Off Time.
Changes to symbols, sizing, timeframe, exchange, or mode require stopping the basket first.
Start mode is an immediate action#
The running-session New Signal / Current Signal selector is separate from ordinary saved settings. It previews the effect and asks for confirmation.
Current Signal may enter immediately when eligible. For a live session, the confirmation can explicitly say Switch and place Live order. Read that as an execution action.
If a save fails#
Keep the visible error, refresh the saved configuration, and check which values actually persisted. Do not assume the monitor changed merely because you edited a local field.
