Before you begin#
Open Broker settings and locate Fyers. The setup panel can display an App ID, App secret, Redirect URL, and a dedicated static IP section.
Use the values shown for your account. Do not use a callback address or IP copied from another user's setup.
Configure the connection#
- Open the Fyers setup panel.
- Copy the Redirect URL shown by SSAlgo into the corresponding redirect setting for your Fyers app.
- Review the dedicated IP section. If assignment is required, complete the action shown and use the resulting IP in the broker setting that requires it.
- Enter your Fyers App ID and App secret in SSAlgo and save.
- Choose Connect Fyers and complete the broker authorization.
- On return, check the account identity and connection status. Run Health check if available.
Broker-side screens and requirements can change. Follow the current broker instructions for your app type and any account-specific requirements.
Updating credentials#
Saving new credentials does not replace an already working session immediately. The current UI explains that the new credentials are used the next time you reconnect.
Reconnect deliberately when you are ready to validate the updated setup. Review any active exposure first.
What a connected status means#
It records authentication. It does not confirm order permissions, contract availability, quote readiness, or successful execution for a strategy.
If setup completes but live execution remains unavailable, inspect the displayed reason and contact support with the error. Do not repeatedly start a session to test the connection.
Common setup issues#
Check for a mismatched redirect URL, an incorrect App ID or secret, an unassigned IP where required, or an expired authorization session. Copy text exactly and remove accidental spaces.
