How this strategy is defined#
The builder identifies the formula as SSAlgo Double HalfTrend V1. It uses fast and slow HalfTrend agreement signals on finalized candles.
The displayed formula specifies Wilder ATR(6) divided by two. The ATR period is fixed for this strategy and is not an editable builder setting.
Settings#
| Field | Observed form fallback | Form limits |
|---|---|---|
| Fast Amplitude | 2 | 1–500 |
| Fast Channel Deviation | 2 | Non-negative input |
| Slow Amplitude | 4 | 1–500 |
| Slow Channel Deviation | 2 | Non-negative input |
These are the source form's fallback values. The validation result and saved configuration determine the values for your algorithm.
Finalized candles#
Agreement signals use finalized candles. Do not expect a developing candle on another chart to be equivalent to a confirmed SSAlgo event.
Set up execution#
After configuring the paired signals, review the contract, size, risk controls, and trading window. If Live is unavailable, follow the offered Paper workflow.
Comparing results#
Use the same formula version, amplitudes, deviations, candle interval, and history. A generic HalfTrend indicator with the same name is not necessarily the same calculation.
